The Stryker Neptune 2 Waste Management System is a closed fluid waste and smoke evacuation system designed for use in the operating room, pathology, surgical centers, and doctor’s offices. It is a mobile unit that collects surgical waste and eliminates smoke generated from electrocautery or laser devices. The system consists of a docking station and a rover, with the rover being a mobile unit used to suction and collect fluid waste and surgical smoke from a surgical site in an operating room. Once the rover is connected to the docking station, the fluid waste is emptied. The Neptune 2 Waste Management System is intended to help dispose of medical OR waste while reducing exposure to surgical fluids. It is a versatile and essential system for maintaining a clean and safe surgical environment.
