The Covidien/Valleylab LigaSure vessel sealing system offers a unique capability that sets it apart from other electrosurgical tools - the ability to achieve permanent vessel occlusion. Unlike traditional hemostatic tools, the Valleylab LigaSure system utilizes groundbreaking technology that goes beyond simple ligation of vessels. Instead, it effectively fuses the walls of the vessels together, resulting in a durable and lasting seal.
